This is a fantastic idea from British General. In their Nexus range they have a double mains switched socket with USB charger points built in. There are several great looking styles available, this one is polished chrome with white inserts. It is sleek and slim with softly rounded corners. It has visible screws, which makes it easier to fit.

You get a very high quality 2 gang switched socket with outboard rockers and the socket has 2 x Type A USB sockets – 2.1A total output, 5V. this is perfect for charging iPad, iPhone, tablets, mobile phones and other devices.

Twin earth is fitted as standard and the sockets are manufactured to BS 5733 and BS EN 60930.

Easy to fit. A 35mm back box is required and the socket is supplied with an optional 10mm spacer for use with a 25mm box retrofit. Also comes with fixing screws and full instructions.
